Comment by Robbie on May 18, 2009 at 2:38pm - Is it right to adopt programmes that impose negative consequences on others without having thought through your position, or out of ideology. Isn't it only morally legitimate to do so if you have rationally and critically justified those costs to members of the moral community who are expected to bear them?
